| My moo cow friend Jessica has beseeched me to update this blog. Man it ihas been a long time! This was the craziest semester I have ever had! The classeswere tough, and the Ph.D. applications were a huge challenge! My final choices for school are the following: 1. University of Texas at Austin 2. Florida State University (Tallahassee) 3. University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) 4. University of Kansas (Lawrence) 5. University of Indiana (Bloomington) 6. University of California Santa Barbara I have already received a "no" from Indiana, so we have 5 to hear from. Please pray for me. I know God will lead me to where I should be. | Hey Sportsfans!
Jules and I are off to Knoxville on Thursday. We're meeting up with my Mom and going to visit my grandparents and Aunt and Uncle who just moved there recently. It'll be the first time Julie will meet them. From there we are meeting my Dad and sister and going to visit my Great Aunt Jean, and spending some time in Lancaster and Hershey, PA. Good memories of East Coast trips :) We're looking forward to it! | | |
| Hey everyone,
Quick update- I was doing one of my favorite shows this summer, Forever Plaid, and we just got cancelled last week. I week before opening! The guys and I aren't too happy about the whole situation, but at the same time it is good to have some time.
I have been working this summer about 28 hours a week as an Office Assistant for a construction company. Not a bad gig, but not my favorite thing to wake up early for.
I also got a gig as a music engraver/copyist. It is pretty cool, but sometimes composers are tough to get straight answers from!
I desperatley need to begin thesis work, please pray that I buck up and do it! I am doing a paper on predominant chords in late Schubert lieder for anyone who cares...
The wife and I are doing well, just getting over sickness, but we celebrated 1 year together which is fantastic! Praise the Lord! | | |
